Prague, 19 July 2021 – Solitea acquired a 100% share in Mainstream Technologies, s.r.o. and its parent company Powerstream, a.s. During fifteen years of operation in the Czech market, the aforementioned companies have become the most important partners of Microsoft, the global technology company, in the respective segment. For Solitea, this is already the seventh acquisition of a major partner of Microsoft.

Microsoft is currently the most important partner for us in the segment of solutions for major companies,” says Martin Cígler, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Solitea. "We have ambitions to become a leader in cloud transformation in the Czech market, and at the same time we are going to become ever more involved in implementation of international projects. Our goal is to take the position of a leading player in the field of comprehensive solutions for protection, visualization and management of IT security. It is the acquisition of Mainstream that will allow us to make this vision true. At the same time, we will also get a number of qualified experts, and I am already looking forward to our cooperation.

In Central and Eastern Europe, Solitea is one of the largest suppliers of accounting and business information systems (ERP) designed for the commercial segment as well as for state organisations and non-profit organizations. In the Czech Republic, our company is a market leader in the market of cash register systems, and its cloud services are utilised by hundreds of thousands of customers. Solitea also offers complete turnkey outsourcing of wage systems – it is for instance eRecept solution in the Czech Republic; TULLI system for the Finnish customs administration is an example of a foreign implementation.

Experts, specialists, top consultants and enthusiastic innovators. This is Mainstream after 15 years,” adds Ladislav Šolc, Managing Partner of Mainstream Technologies, s.r.o. "We are also characterized by a long-term cooperation with our customers, who trust us and rely on our advice and experience. I believe that this step means that we have dealt with the annual challenge of creating an attractive environment allowing development of employees, and at the same time we are still a strong partner for our customers. We will maintain a sound corporate culture, while significantly developing our competencies based on the strong connection with SOLITEA Group and its background.”

The current executive management of Mainstream Technologies shall continue to manage the company, and the field of operations of the company is not going to change. The acquisition will not cause any changes for employees, business partners and customers. The acquisition price is not available to the public, and the transaction is subject to approval by the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS).
